About

The Hampshire Domestic Abuse Service is made up of the following services;

Advice Line: The Advice Line is the first point of contact, information, advice, assessment and triage for victims, their children, and professionals , and is managed by Stop Domestic Abuse. (An additional service for perpetrators of domestic abuse is managed by the Hampton Trust, and can also be accessed through the Advice Line).

Community Based Outreach and 1:1 Support: Individual tailored advice and support to ensure that victims and survivors are able to maintain their accommodation and live their lives free from domestic violence and abuse.

Children and Young People’s (CYP) Services: Specialist service for the most vulnerable children and young people affected by domestic abuse. The service provides individual support, advice and assistance, working with children and young people in schools, children’s centres and local community settings, as well as in their own homes. The work builds the child / young person’s self-confidence by creating individual safety plans, self-esteem boosting activities and promoting positive ways to acknowledge and manage their emotions.

Refuge Services: Support is provided to enable victims to access safe refuge accommodation as well as delivering the local refuge provision. Support Workers provide a supportive and empowering environment and deliver both practical and emotional support.

Group Work:
A wide range of group work within refuge accommodation and in the community is available, delivered by accredited and trained staff.

Stop Domestic Abuse supports and protects victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They provide a range of flexible and accessible services across Hampshire. They help perpetrators, the police and other agencies.
